i'm smitten about these.

Found these glorious cards and prints by i'm smitten . Such cute little characters, I think 'giraffe boy with kite' and 'elephant girl' seem like they'd make great friends.

It makes me want to get creating some more greeting cards asap! On that note kraftbomb (halloween extravaganza) is this Sunday 11-2pm, grey lynn community centre. Our team of three have a larger stall this time, and will have all the usual goodies, plus more. Be there!

oops i slept in.

I am totally loving these interiors by UK photographer James Merrell, so many to choose from! I got up late, spent too long in the bathroom and didn't have time for breakfast this morning, so probably why these ones appealed.

i never highfive anymore.

I found this cool poster by Andy Millar , an interesting thought don't ya think?

Then i spotted this other piece of his i like too, but didn't get what it meant?

...turns out it was part of a rather clever project run by photographer Paul Paper - he contacted a whole bunch of artists worldwide to create a piece around the phase "It could be me but it's actually Paul Paper". here's a couple that appealed to me. check out more beauts on the website.

oh deer, how cute.

How funny are these by 'i love grey skies'. They just made me smile, so thought i would share. A much better alternative to a real deer head. She is oh so talented and makes all sorts of amusing creatures, and has a great blog! i'm a fan.

summers coming.

well kind of, seeing these illustrations by yumi yumi got me excited about slipping into a nice sundress or sporting a nautical looking outfit. ooo and i look forward to the many picnics to be had in the warmer months. She has some pretty sweet prints of animals too, like owls, birds, chimpmunks, check them out here.

cardboard box issue one.

As promised here are some pics of the brand spanking new zine cardboard box.
More exciting news about where it's being stocked - Swonderful in wellington are on board, as well as Conch Records on Ponsonby Road and St Paul Street Gallery. All rather impressive considering this wee zine is just over a week old.

the above image is of my spread - as chief blog reviewer, this issue included lilysmakebelieve.blogspot.com and lookbook.nu

My lettersets even featured in the catalogue, which i was well pleased with.
Bring on issue two I say!
