These gals look deep in thought, or like they're waiting for someone. I can relate to that feeling, waiting can be quite dull. But mostly I just wanted to share these images and the pretty blue colours.

I may be a little slow off the mark with this... but I love the winter collection by french label Carven. The brand has been around for years, but I'm seeing it for the first time. I adore the silhouettes of this collection and would happily wear all or any of the outfits.

I like this editorial from the September issue of Dazed & Confused, it just looks like good friends (be it hot model friends) hanging out together. So on that note - have a great weekend hanging out with your good friends!

I'm heading off for a winter getaway at the bach with a bunch of good friends... to celebrate an august birthday, hooray! Won't be able to enjoy the usual summer activities that the seaside has to offer but it'll be nice to escape the city. Enjoy your weekend!

I'm thinking of soft colours and warm knits on this gloomy sunday. Also eagerly awaiting a new leather handbag which should appear in my letterbox anyday now (no, it's not the one pictured but similar). It also happens to be the first day of August, nice.

I came across this great site via so much to tell you blog, it's very selby-like but based in Berlin. There's so many enviable apartments to gaze at, not too over-the-top, just simple, nice interiors. Here's some of my favs.

Last thursday night I saw the brilliant documentary 'Bill Cunningham New York' as part of the Auckland Film Festival. It was so so good, and inspiring, and sad at times. Bill is the most upbeat, hardworking (80 year old!) man, with such an eye for fashion and trends. What's interesting, is the contrast between his 'no frills' life and those of the ones he shoots on the street, or at some glam new york event. I've become quite taken by him, and hooked on his cheerful style reports for the new york times, check some out here.
